Free — everything you need to start

Creating a community, talking in it, and keeping it organised is free and has no trial clock. The free plan includes unlimited Text and Voice Spaces, direct and group messaging, real-time presence, threads, roles, permissions and moderation, Discover, and end-to-end encrypted 1:1 direct messages. Uploads up to 15 MB, profile skills, and pinned Spaces have defaults that are comfortable for a normal community — lift them when a need actually appears.

Aether is a subscription for individuals: bigger uploads, a profile that stands out, and voice quality that others notice. Free Beacons come with it every month, so members can boost the Nexuses they love.

Beacons are a visibility and perks feature for a Nexus. When members apply Beacons to a community, it climbs three tiers — and every tier's perks apply to the whole community, not just the people who paid.

Nexus Pro is for creators who want their community to pay its own way. The owner sets up paid access, and Ballastra handles subscriptions, payouts and analytics — and the majority of what members pay stays with the creator.

• A per-Nexus creator subscription — the owner sets up paid access tiers for their own community.
• Multiple subscription tiers per Nexus, each with its own perks and welcome.
• A payouts dashboard and creator analytics to see how the community is earning.
• Rooms, content and roles made premium — gated behind paid membership.
• Includes the equivalent of five Beacons, so a Nexus starts at Beacon Tier 2 on day one.
• Creators keep the majority of every payment their subscribers make.
